Thank you for pointing this out. I just overheard a vendor making a pitch like that you describe and told him he couldn’t do that anymore because it wasn’t truthful. He responded that he has been making donations of money and goods to the Delonis Shelter and other homelessness service providers. I thanked him for doing that and said he could include that in what he says to potential customers but that he couldn’t say or imply that the money initially went to somewhere other than him. Please let me know if you become aware of this continuing, and if you can, supply a name and or vendor number from the person’s badge, or a photo. Thank you for your vigilance!
